Doug Stewart, the Managing Director, with 40 years experience in the
construction industry, has a long standing interest in sustainable construction, which has led him to be

Construction are partners with DAC International, a Canadian company producing Super E timber
frame panels. The result of this collaboration is the first bespoke self build Super-E home to be built in the UK.

Construction's first Super E Home, featured in
The Sunday Times and The Observer, in addition to extensive
coverage in the self-build press, has been designed with a
specific emphasis on sustainability, above and beyond the efficiency
already associated with Super-E homes. The house will be seen on Discovery Real
Time's "House in a Box" on April 20th 2006.
This DGS Super E home has been highlighted in a new
Conran book:
"DESIGN + BUILD YOUR DREAM HOME" by
Elizabeth Wilhide, which features 15 fantastic homes from around the
world.
Another Super E home
built by DGS Construction for a private client in Bedfordshire has
been featured in The Mail on Sunday and Metro, and will also be one
of the star homes in the "House in a Box" series, first shown on
April 27th 2006.

Ltd are at the forefront of sustainable building and in 2004 were shortlisted
for the
Building Magazine Specialist
Contractor Sustainability Award.
In 2005 the Super E Home in Cornwall won a Caradon Council design
award.
Other Recent
projects have included individual new build houses and the extensive
rebuilding of a 16th century timber frame cottage in Buckinghamshire which is
also being considered for an architectural award.
We are also completing our own small development, in
a conservation area in Wolverton.
